EULOGY 

Christine and David and I are extremely grateful for your presence today, and for the prayers and well wishes coming from the many friends and family members who weren’t able to be here. There are also those individuals who helped us create this event --thank you for your generosity and your talents. Stephen loved all of you. 

Stephen was selfless. He was fearless and he was cool. He was Jimi Hendrix, N.C. Wyeth, and Steve McQueen. Whatever he did, he enjoyed it, he did it well, and he made it look easy. He was a cook, a mechanic, a cat whisperer, and a master knot tyer. 

He was ambidextrous, drawing with his left hand and mousing with his right. He was oceans, rivers and lakes. He was a gentle spirit with an unshakable inner core. He was my rock, my leading man, and my inspiration.
